| Midterm Time...
OK, I had my first 2 midterms in less than 15 hrs.....both of them sucked, bad....
First, I had Physics 7A around 6:30PM-10PM, It was a pain in the ass to
be there 3 hrs and a half just to TRY and solve 5 problems, from which
I will get at least 2 of them wrong....But I am not that worried
because the Proffesor said the average will be around 60% so I am not
worrying too much.
After taking this lengthy and tiring exam, I get to my dorm and what do I have to do?? FREAKING STUDY!!! I
say WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THESE GUYS?? Desperate to learn the MATH
material, I sleep around 3 AM unable to get it and with nothing else
than a headache. Omar wakes me up around 8AM and what do I do? Study
some more Math 53 for the test that I was going to take in 2 hrs (yep,
10AM). Around 9:30AM I leave towards campus reading my book while
walking (Luckily I learned this skill before) and study a little bit
more, later to prove unfruitful......
I get to Dwinelle Hall (where the pain was about to start), they give
out the exams around 10:05 and we start at around 10:12. I start to
work, and overall the test is freaking hard...not impossible just hard.
AND to top it off, I make stupid mistakes because of the only limitant:
time. After doing one problem, I notice that a BITCH sitting next to me
is using a calculator...I was like WTF?? It said there..."No
Calculators Allowed" and even the professor said it....WTF is wrong??
still
she finishes the test USING CALCULATOR, and me with just a freaking
feeling inside of me wanting to tell everybody that she is a
cheater....*but I dont do/say anything*....Well, I guess this is just
another day at CAL....
- I guess I cannot be the "straight A student from old SHS", Seeya later people

Evans Hall, I have my Math 53 Discussion and Physics Discussion. Some
people believe is the ugliest building at Berkeley. If you ask me, I
really like it and I think the ARCHITECTURE building is the worst
one....isnt that kind of stupid??

Some pictures from the Campanile, it is really impressive and I was
amazed in how you can see the Golden Gate bridge from the BOTTOM part
of the Campanile, not top, but bottom.

The Main Library, here I spend time working between classes. It is
AWESOME, it has study rooms, 6 underground floors (that I know of),
plus ~3-4 more. They say that they have a collection about really old
documents. Restricted access only :(

Library...continued.
This is the other side of the library.

South Building. Before Berkeley consisted of only TWO buildings, and
this one is still standing. It was built somewhere around 1860-ish. So
yea, pretty old. I havent been there, its administration stuff.
Well, this is it for all of you that wanted to go to Berkeley, and for
some reason or another are not here with me, so therefore I am missing
you :(
Or, if you didnt want to go to Berkeley, then you can get to know this campus better!
-Have Fun all....I am off to study Math (Calc. Multivariable) for an ADORABLE quiz tomorrow...:(

| OK it is time to update....well, I went to Puerto Vallarta, where I had
lotz and i mean lotz of fun with my family and Hugo's family...it was
cool to have a "reunion" before I left to college. I did some extreme
sport (canopy) which was to go from one mountain to another with only
one little tiny cord....I really liked it. I did way more stuff but it
would be too long and noone would finish reading.
Then, I went to Guadalajara, where it was cool but not even close to
the fun that i had in Puerto Vallarta. So lets just not go there.
Now to Berkeley, one word actually 3 " I LOVE IT!!!" its really
awesome. The weather is really good, the classes are NOT that
hard...just harder than AP but that was expected and people here are
really friendly, so i get to know so many people.
My roommate are Omar and Ben. Omar well, you know him. Ben is a guy
from San Jose, really cool guy and SUPER smart....more than me?
probably ;D
I live in some Residence Hall called Clark Kerr *building 4* and its
freaking far from the university (about a mile) so i can either walk or
take bus, but most of the time I walk because I think its healthy to
do. Food is pretty good, and hopefully I wont gain weight.
I will leave from here so that you guys comment on my entry. Thanks for reading :D

| Well, today, it was like any other day: wake up at 6:00, dress up and
get ready to go to work. Sadly, I realized that my friends werent going
to go to work because of laziness and school....I got to be alone at
work, doing all of the crappy stuff without no one to talk to, is this
how it feels? to REALLY work without any distraction, being
concentrated in what you are doing? Because if it is, it is a really
lonesome job...
Well, after being for about 4 hrs alone just doing stuff that I hate to
do, Omar called and I got to talk to him about transcripts, getting
classes at Berkeley and such. I then called my sister, because I wanted
her to buy my books already to get them cheap. I did that and talked
some more. After that I received another call from Omar saying that
Berkeley hadnt received our SHS transcripts...I was kind of worried,
but then I was relieved because I wasnt going to get rejected just
because of that...Well, I tried to see it myself...There it was: a big
NOT RECEIVED, and they were supposed to get there by Friday..."no
worries" I thought.
I waited some time about 5 seconds, and it occured to me to press F5
*refresh* (for you people that didnt know that). After that, the page
reloaded and magically the transcript had a RECEIVED next to
it..."weird", I thought...
I scrolled down and there they were, my AP SCORES!!
Kind of scared to look into my failure, I stopped, then I thought, "I
can handle this, its just another failure" Then I saw......
2005
AP Calculus BC 5 (overwhelmed, expected a 3 or 4)
AP Calculus AB (subscore) 5 (no surprise)
AP Physics C MECH 3 (no words to describe this...., I was expecting a 2)
AP Physics C E&M 3 (what I thought Impossible, I was waiting for a 1)
2004
AP Calculus AB 4
AP Physics B 3
AP Spanish Lit. 4
2003
AP Spanish Language 5
*note: only scores with 3 or higher are posted*
So, does that mean I failed Chemistry and English?? No problemo I can
handle that!! I then called my mom....no answer ok, then Omar...no
answer, ok then my sister....no answer. Where is everyone??
After a couple of minutes, I called home, my mom was there!! So, I made
my mom get the AP scores from the mail, and there they were:
AP English Lang&Comp 2
AP Chemistry 2 *well Mr. Cutting, I tried...*
After that, I got off from work, left to Omar's house and we went to
Johnos house, where we played some Halo and ate crappy food. After
that, I returned home and ate some more....
Well that was my day.....hope you didnt get bored.
************I really wanna hang out MORE with friends.....*************

After graduating I have been going to Mexicali more often, probably because I realized that I am going to miss it....:(
Damn, I have realized that I am going to leave soon, because I am
already getting things ready for my departure: I ALREADY BOUGHT 90% OF
WHAT I AM TAKING!!! scary.....
I am leaving August 13, in order to go to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco,
Mexico and I am returning August 22, with just enough time to fly
August 23rd up to Berkeley, where I will be staying until Thanksgiving.
